Christians, please help me.

I am starting this blog in the hope that someone can help me resolve questions I have about Christianity. I honestly don’t know if anyone else will ever read this. If someone does read I doubt they will comment. I honestly just want to get some questions off my chest. I should start with, how do you know what you know? I don’t want to debate anything or argue a point. I don’t want to define the word “know”. I don’t want you to loose your faith. I will tell you now that I am looking for evidence. I don’t think the Bible is a credible source unless someone can show me that it is. I think I have an open mind. I was not in some trauma that caused me to hate god. I am not living in any sort of “sin” that would make me want to run from god. I grew up very religious. I was told at the age of 9 that I was corrupt and would face eternal torture if I did not convert. I had what seemed like a real experience of “salvation”.
